13 Injured in Grenade Explosion in Kashmir

Srinagar, Oct 31: Six police and seven Indian para-military personnel were injured in a powerful grenade explosion carried out by militants in Kashmir, on Friday.
A police officer told NewsBlaze that militants fired a rifle grenade towards a police station at Baramulla in North Kashmir. He said that the grenade exploded in the premises of the police station, where police and para-military personnel were camping.
The police officer said that the 13 persons including six police and seven para-military personnel were injured in the blast and were hospitalised. The condition of two of the injured para-military soldiers was stated to be "life threatening".
Immediately after the blast, the police and para-military personnel laid siege around the area to flush out the militants responsible for the blast. No arrests were reported during the operation.
No militant group has owned the responsiblity of the blast
