Journalism Professor Surveys Bloggers on Internet Use During Elections
By Alan Gray, NewsBlaze
Tom Johnson, a full professor in journalism at Texas Tech and his colleague Barb Kaye, associate professor in journalism and Electronic Media at the University of Tennessee are surveying politically interested bloggers.
Johnson and Kaye conducted studies of Internet use during the last four elections. One of their most prominent areas of study is blogging, and this month, they are looking to reach politically interested bloggers.
The survey takes about 10 to 15 minutes. It is a little long, with a welcome break near the end to tell you that you've almost finished.
Johnson says "We are interested in hearing how you use the Internet in the 2008 presidential election. We invite you to click on the link below and fill out this survey."
Although the Internet is a global medium, Johnson and Kaye want to limit participation in this particular survey to those eligible to vote in the U.S.
