New Company Launch: Mantelscapes Provides Turnkey Mantel Design Solutions

Believing that the mantel is often the most important focal point in the home, co-owners Beth Lindstrom and Joanne Graves established mantelscapes.com as a simple turnkey service that delivers all the elements of the design directly to the homeowner ready to assemble in a few easy steps.

"Many people neglect their mantels because they are either unsure how to arrange items or just don't have the time," said co-owner and CEO Beth Lindstrom. "Making it easy for homeowners to acquire a beautiful showpiece with all the parts included and ready to display is truly the goal of Mantelscapes."

Mantelscapes offers decorative choices, for any mantel, flat surface or shelf. Each mantelscape includes a variety of design elements such as mirrors, wall art, clocks, candlesticks, greenery, topiaries and other decorative accessories. With every detail thought of, even the candles and picture hooks are included. Designs are available to fit any decorating style such as Formal Elegance, French Country and Natural Elements, to name a few. Traditional Christmas and Country Christmas are seasonal offerings that will create the perfect festive setting for the upcoming holiday season.

Joanne Graves, principal designer for Mantelscapes, has owned a successful interior design and decorating company for more than ten years and sees this new venture as an extension of her personal design vision. Beth Lindstrom, chief executive, brings a wealth of business and e-commerce expertise to the company. She is the former Secretary of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation for theState of Massachusetts.

A few years ago Lindstrom asked Graves to help decorate her mantel for an upcoming charity event. The two realized that many people left their mantels bare simply because the idea of decorating it was too daunting. They began discussing ideas for finding unique pieces and designing and selling pre- packaged, tasteful items for a beautiful mantel display that would work in any home.
