Vangard Voice Systems Introduces First Mobile Voice Platform for Cross-Enterprise Mobile Applications

Mobile Voice Platform Powered by New Rapid Development Environment Extends Voice Beyond the Warehouse to Mobile Applications Anywhere

Vangard Voice Systems, Inc. (Vangard), the innovator of AccuSpeech® Mobile voice technology, announced the availability of its new Mobile Voice Platform (MVP). MVP is a single, common development environment for rapidly adding sophisticated, full-lifecycle voice capabilities to existing host, Web or device-based mobile applications. MVP voice-enabled applications empower mobile workers everywhere tasked to speed the gathering and transaction of important business information. The availability of MVP gives commercial and government IT organizations the ability to expand enterprise productivity, optimize business processes and realize new competitive advantages.

MVP, powered by Vangard's new Rapid Development Environment (RDE), further speeds "non-invasive" voice enabling of mobile applications to as little as one day. Sophisticated voice-powered capabilities for data collection and device and navigation controls are added to existing mobile applications, including mobile field services, mobile field sales, inspections, task management and mobile dispatch. For IT management, MVP's non-invasive approach to enterprise voice enables optimization of existing business operations and processes, instead of changing or replacing them.

"Like the global adoption of RFID and barcode scanning technologies, voice-powered cross-enterprise mobile applications represent the next quantum leap for business and government operations," said Bob Bova, president and chief executive officer of Vangard Voice Systems. "The availability of Vangard's Mobile Voice Platform and its Rapid Development Environment will speed the adoption of hands-free, eyes-free voice capabilities, driving the next generation of tactical, operational and strategic advantage."

Vangard's MVP and RDE extend the value of an IT organization's existing investment and systems, by rapidly adding complete client-resident voice capabilities -- non-invasively -- to its existing applications. RDE streamlines and accelerates the entire voice lifecycle management of mobile applications, including pre-development voice "best practice" planning, development completion and post-deployment on-the-fly dynamic content management.

"The introduction and initial response to our Mobile Voice Platform places Vangard Voice in a singular position in the voice mobility marketplace," Bova added. "Fortune-class companies are eager to voice-power their critical Web, device and host-based mobile applications. Vangard and its business partners like Motorola, AccuCode, Wavelink Corporation and others are teaming with us to deliver the power of voice technology to the enterprise marketplace."
