Does The "yeti Project Japan" Have Proof of The Abominable Snowman?

By Robert Paul Reyes

"Japanese climbers returning from a mountain in western Nepal said Tuesday they had found footprints they think belonged to the abominable snowman or Yeti.

'We saw three footprints which looked like that of human beings,' Kuniaki Yagihara, a member of the Yeti Project Japan, said in Kathmandu, after returning from the mountain with photographs of the footprints.

The climbers, equipped with long-lens cameras, video cameras and telescopes, said, however that they did not see or take any photographs of the creature." Reuters/Gopal Sharma

Let's see if I have this right: Members of the "Yeti Project Japan" climb a mountain searching for the mythical beast, and the best they can do is provide the press with photos of footprints they think belonged to the mythical beast.

Why is this news? Why was a Reuters writer assigned to cover this non-story? Reuters is a British based news agency that covers the globe, couldn't Mr. Sharma have been sent to cover a famine in Africa or a British royal scandal?

My neighbor is a big brute with size 14 shoes, and when he wears hiking boots he leaves colossal footprints. For all I know he may be related to a Yeti, is there a Reuters reporter in Virginia who wants to cover this mysterious saga?

The Japanese climbers were unable to come up with any video of the abominable snowman, but if the Reuters journalist comes to my neighborhood he can interview my neighbor. He may not be the abominable snowman, but he comes fairly close: He's a Bible thumper, a member of the NRA, and a big fan of that "Palin gal."

I'm had a few conversations with my huge neighbor, and I can provide the Reuters writer with background information. To show what a great guy I am, I won't even demand to share the byline.
