Conservative Heritage Times Releases Conservative Reading List
By Alan Gray, NewsBlaze
Conservative Heritage Times, an internet E-Zine on conservatism, political philosophy, letters, culture, and history recently released its latest conservative reading list.
The site, previously titled Conservative Times, changed its name to Conservative Heritage Times in June of 2007 to emphasize one of the most ancient aspects of conservatism: "the ancestral."
This reading list includes both books and articles, and favors those of a paleoconservative persuasion. Paleoconservatism is what conservatism was prior to the rise of the neoconservatives in the 1970s.
Not only does the list display many paleoconservative classics, such as Peter Brimelow, Pat Buchanan, Thomas Fleming, Sam Francis, and Paul Gottfried, it also contains some philosophical works, including Aristotle, Cicero, and Nietzsche. The literature of Edward Abbey and Jean Raspail is also included.
