MAHAMUDRA: WISDOM FOR YOUR MIND AND BODY With Jessica Kung and Stephane Dreyfus
Mahamudra means the "Great Seal". It refers to the Buddhist concept of the true nature of reality. A mudra can be a specific hand gesture used to create a powerful circuit of energy in the body. By practicing Mahamudra, you make the great gesture of uniting the body and mind in order to transform your life.

JESSICA KUNG is a graduate of Yale College, a certified Jivamukti Yoga teacher at the 800 hour level and a staff teacher at Yoga Studies Institute. She has studied with many masters, including Geshe Michael Roach, Christie McNally, David Life and Shri Dharma Mitta.
STEPHANE DREYFUS has been a student of Venerable Sumati Marut and other extraordinary ACI-LA teachers since 2003, also studying with Geshe Michael Roach and His Holiness the XIVth Dalai Lama. He has completed all 18 ACI Formal Study courses and currently studies the advanced teachings of Buddhism.
THE MAHASUKHA CENTER (in Sanskrit: "great bliss") is the new home of the Asian Classics Institute of Los Angeles (ACI-LA), which is dedicated to bringing ancient wisdom to modern times. It provides a wide range of courses and events including guided meditations, Buddha dharma, teachings on spiritual partners, workshops by nationally known yoga teachers, and informal talks on a variety of subjects. The Center will become a community for anyone interested in yoga, dharma - particularly the integration of the two - and learning ideas and skills that will help them create lasting happiness in their lives.
