Lumeta's Michael Markulec Invited to Speak at Eighth Annual Federal Information Assurance Conference

The session, titled Trusted Internet Connection (TIC), will focus on the Federal Government's ongoing initiative to consolidate Internet points-of-presence in order to insulate federal networks from risk and intrusion with more tightly managed Internet gateways.

Mr. Markulec will provide insights into the world's cyber infrastructure culled from 10 years of Internet Mapping research which have a direct bearing on today's most onerous network management, security, and geo-political issues. Mr. Stender will discuss how TIC will improve the federal government's incident response capability through the reduction of external connections and centralized gateway monitoring at a select group of TIC Access Providers.
