Hughes Executives Weigh in on Timely Issues from Satellite's Role in the Economy to the Role of Mobility During SATCON 2008 Panel Discussions
GERMANTOWN, Md., Oct. 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Hughes Network Systems,

services, today announced that three Hughes executives will be participating
on panels discussing such issues as satellite's role in the economy to the
function satellite technology serves in an increasingly mobile society during
SATCON 2008, October 15-16 inNew York. Hughes Chairman and CEO Pradman Kaul
also will discuss trends shaping the industry during the "Satellite Keynote
Panel: The Industry Leaders Speak" on October 15.
In an increasingly competitive communications marketplace, an uncertain
economy, and a changing political and regulatory environment, satellite
operators and service providers must develop new services and applications,

Kaul and several other leaders of the satellite industry will discuss key
