UN Forum Seeks to Ensure Schooling for Children From Homes Affected By HIV/AIDS and People With Diabetes Lose More Than Money
Same story, all the same! Same noise year in year out.
I can't say why I often get irritated whenever I come across a piece which has to do with AIDs... yeah! Surely because I don't see where the funda are being directed. I am not perfect, but I fear and love humanity. The only creature no human could proudly say; I can build/manufacture you, I respect mankind.
Ok! Something comes in the name of...only for we (us) to let the impact not felt. It's true the patient (AIDs...) themselves will be the best people to carry out such awareness educational project. What a shame! They remain in their small hut and wanting to see no body.
Although on the other hand when aids such as these come in, only the city dwellers are aware whereas the real carriers are in the villages (villagers), illiterates who think AIDs... is witchcraft, bad luck, evil attacked. I don't blame them, witchcraft does exist and so on.
I pity the future. We are a total disgrace and I am convinced that our great grandchildren will hate to bear our names.
All the same, I hope and pray this time, the funds should be rightfully directed. It shouldn't be a free ticket for some of us to add to our bank account, or moving with suitcases from one town to the next country in the name of attending assembles or should I say humanitarian conferences.
Thanks
