Borders, Declare Yourself to Host Voter Registration Event at Borders in Stonestown Galleria in San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 10 /PRNewswire/ --

WHAT: Borders has teamed with Declare Yourself to register voters for the 2008 presidential election. Declare Yourself is a national nonpartisan, nonprofit campaign founded by TV writer and producer Norman Lear to encourage and empower Americans -- particularly young people -- to register to vote in elections. Declare Yourself registered over one million young people in the 2004 and 2006 elections and has already registered over 700,000 new voters for the 2008 election.

WHO: Members of Declare Yourself will register people to vote. Amber Stevens, Jake McDorman and Tiffany Dupont, cast members from the popular ABC Family series "GREEK," will also be on hand to sign autographs and assist with registering voters.
