Ameren Corporation Directors Declare Quarterly Dividend
ST. LOUIS, Oct. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The board of directors of
Ameren Corporation (NYSE: AEE) today declared a quarterly dividend on its
common stock of 63.5 cents per share.
The common share dividend is payable Dec. 31, 2008, to shareholders of
record on Dec. 10, 2008.
Separately, the boards of Ameren's utility operating subsidiaries have
also declared regular quarterly dividends on all classes of the
subsidiaries' preferred stock. The Central Illinois Light Company
(AmerenCILCO) preferred stock dividend, declared Oct. 9, 2008, is payable
Jan. 2, 2009, to shareholders of record on Dec. 4, 2008. The Central
Illinois Public Service Company (AmerenCIPS) preferred stock dividend,
declared Oct. 9, 2008, is payable March 31, 2009, to shareholders of
record on March 11, 2009. The Illinois Power Company (AmerenIP) preferred
stock dividend, declared Oct. 9, 2008, is payable Feb. 2, 2009, to
shareholders of record on Jan. 12, 2009. The Union Electric Company
(AmerenUE) preferred stock dividend, declared Oct. 9, 2008, is payable
Feb. 15, 2009, to shareholders of record on Jan. 20, 2009.
With assets of approximately $22 billion, Ameren serves 2.4 million
electric customers and one million natural gas customers in a
64,000-square-mile area ofMissouri andIllinois.
