Sessions will cover topics including current energy projects inConnecticut and the state of energy inConnecticut.

"Trane is pleased to sponsor the 'What's the Deal?' conference as part of our commitment to helpingConnecticut business leaders make their buildings more energy efficient," said Bill Harris, business leader for Trane. "Commercial buildings are a major consumer of the world's energy supply. We are eager to discuss the technology and solutions available to help organizations reduce this environmental impact."

Mike DeNamur, LEED AP, sales leader for Trane inConnecticut, will present a breakout session at the conference to discuss the growing popularity of high-performance buildings.

    At: "What's the Deal?" Conference

The conference is part of the three-day OneThing Expo, being held Oct. 10 to 12. Conceived as a "World's Fair of Energy Conservation" and part ofConnecticut Governor M. Jodi Rell's OneThing campaign, the OneThing Expo will explore energy topics and conservation innovations.

About the OneThing Campaign

Governor Rell's OneThing campaign leverages the momentum that can be achieved if everyone in the state did one thing every day to save on their energy bills and make a positive contribution to the environment. If each of the state's 3.5 million residents did OneThing a day, every day, for a year that would be more than 1.2 billion OneThings -- more than enough to make a real difference on issues such as consumption, conservation and the use of clean and renewable energy. This campaign is an extension of Governor Rell's Connecticut Energy Vision for a Cleaner, Greener State. The Governor's energy vision was unveiled in late 2006 to create measurable ways to reduce the cost of energy for consumers and businesses, strengthen state energy policy over the long- and short-term, and reaffirmConnecticut's position as a leader in renewable energy.
