Discover Masterpieces At The Celebrated Downtown Burbank Fine Arts Festival
Experience a dynamic variety of fine art by 100 acclaimed artists at one of the largest open-air art markets in the region. For two days, Downtown Burbank streets will be filled with award-winning painters, ceramicists, photographers, jewelry makers, chalk artists, roving entertainers and more, Saturday and Sunday, November 8 and 9. The festival is free and open to the public.
Now in its fifth year, this must-see art event attracts more than 30,000 people, who enjoy the lively mixture of art, music and food. Attendees can purchase or commission unique works of art at affordable prices, enjoy live musical entertainment, watch pottery wheel demonstrations and see chalk artists create masterpieces on city streets. It's the perfect way to experience a European-style street festival with great shopping, outdoor dining and entertainment all combined in an inviting downtown setting.
The show spans three blocks of San Fernando Boulevard from Magnolia to Olive in Downtown Burbank. Hours are 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Saturday and Sunday.
The Downtown Burbank Fine Arts Festival is produced in collaboration with West Coast Artists and Downtown Burbank Partnership. Downtown Burbank comprises 34-blocks of retail, office, residential and entertainment destinations that includes more than 200 shops and 80 restaurants like Macy's, IKEA, PF Chang's, Urban Outfitters, AMC-16 and Burbank Town Center. The area is bounded by Verdugo Avenue, Glenoaks, Burbank Boulevard and the I-5 in Burbank, Calif., and contains more than 9,000 parking spaces. Dubbed "one of Southern California's most appealing urban centers" by Sunset Magazine, the district is managed by Downtown Burbank Partnership, a California nonprofit mutual benefit corporation. www.downtown-burbank.org
