Magnolia Park Event Attracts Thousands for Start of Holiday Season
The holiday season in Burbank officially begins with Holiday in the Park, a community favorite attracting thousands of well wishers for an evening of strolling, caroling, mingling and sampling merchant treats on Friday, November 21 from 5:30 P.M. to 9:30 P.M. This beloved neighborhood classic happens along Magnolia Boulevard between Buena Vista and Pass Avenue and on Hollywood Way between Chandler and Clark.
Included in this family friendly evening will be two stages of live music, an ice sculptor, roving entertainment, photos with Santa, refreshments and lots of fun for kids. All activities are free.
Always a big hit at Holiday in the Park are the many open houses hosted by shops and eateries throughout the district. Attendees can experience stores decorated just like olden times, and be transported by the sumptuous seasonal aromas that fill the night air. Musicians and choirs will serenade strollers along Magnolia and Hollywood Way. Shops will offer hot chocolate, treats, tea and sweets, as well as host parties and receptions throughout the evening. It's a great old fashioned holiday experience, and a chance to relive cheerful memories of times gone by.
Holiday in the Park is presented by the Magnolia Park Partnership, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving the Magnolia Park district. Magnolia Park includes an established residential community of 3,000 homes and hundreds of neighborhood businesses on Magnolia Boulevard between Buena Vista and the city limit, and Hollywood Way between Clark and Chandler. Other activities produced by the partnership include Be-Boppin' in the Park in August, and the Magical Magnolia Bicycle Tour in May.
