Executive From GAZ, Russia's Largest Automotive Company, to Keynote GlobalAutoIndustry.com Russia Conference on October 30
Conference to Showcase Europe's Largest and Fastest Growing Automotive Market

GlobalAutoIndustry.com, a unique marketplace for
intelligence and resources for the global auto industry, today announced
Mr. Zinoviy Chernyak, Director of Strategic Business Development for the
GAZ Group, will keynote the Russia Conference. GAZ is Russia's largest
automotive manufacturer of light commercial vehicles, trucks, buses, cars,
diesel engines, power-train components and road construction equipment.
The Conference will take place in Troy, Michigan (USA) and will also be
viewable via live webcast via the Internet around the world.
According to figures published July 9 by consultancy
PricewaterhouseCoopers, Russia recently overtook Germany to become the
largest car market in Europe. PwC notes that some 1.645 million new cars
were registered in Russia during the first half of 2008, compared with 1.63
million cars in Germany. "The Russian auto market is still witnessing an
astonishing growth," the report concludes.
On October 30th, GlobalAutoIndustry.com will host "Russia: The New
Automotive Manufacturing Frontier," a full-day conference addressing
critical issues for auto suppliers considering venturing into Russia.
Industry experts from the GAZ Group, Ernst & Young, Kelly Services,
PricewaterhouseCoopers, Baker & McKenzie, JATO Dynamics, Schenker of
Canada, and Intellectual Capital Group will discuss the advantages and
cautions of doing business in Russia's auto industry. Topics will include:
Automotive Market Trends in Russia, Entry Strategy into the Russian Market,
Legal Challenges of Operating in Russia, Human Capital Challenges, Finance
and Tax Issues, Intellectual Property Protection in Russia, and more.
As OEMs have transcended national borders, demands on suppliers have become
equally global, creating steeper learning curves and driving the need for
global perspective and shorter -- and smarter -- decision cycles.
Today, Internet technology enables auto supplier executives, wherever they
may be around the globe, to efficiently tap into a rich vein of expertise,
savvy and experience embodied by GlobalAutoIndustry.com's conference
presenters. The conferences, along with GlobalAutoIndustry.com's broad
array of information, services and resources, provide an unmatched,

On June 26, 2008, GlobalAutoIndustry.com held its 100th event, and its

September 25 drew attendees from 12 countries, in addition to attendees
from 7 different U.S. states.
