George Hatzoglou Resigns as Director

Cleanfield Alternative Energy Inc. (the "Corporation") (TSX VENTURE: AIR) today announced the resignation of George Hatzoglou as a director of the Corporation effective October 7, 2008. Mr. Hatzoglou, however, will remain involved with the Corporation on a consulting basis dealing with the further development of Cleanfield's solar initiatives.

Tony Verrelli, President, Cleanfield Alternative Energy, said, "We would like to thank George for all his contributions to the Company in his role as Director and Chair of the Audit Committee over the last two years. George was an active participant and always acted in an exemplary fashion in the conduct of his duties on the Board. We do look forward to still having access to George's business knowledge and experience through a consulting arrangement with George that will be put in place."
