Who is Boone Skis?

Boone Skis is the onlyCalifornia owned and operated ski company. Founder Erik Boone started Boone Skis in 2007, with one goal in mind, to create a business he believed in. "When I was pursuing my MBA, I really took my professors' words to heart," remembers Boone. "They challenged me to combine my passion with my career. I've been skiing since I was a kid inIdaho, so starting my own ski company was a logical move."

Boone Skis is a boutique outfit, forging just 500 sets of high-performance skis this year. "We didn't want to flood the market right away," says Boone. "There is a method to our madness. By keeping our product run low, we were able to keep our costs in line and focus on quality."
