What myths have you heard about sex?

A cap full of bleach protects you from HIV/AIDS? Drinking Mountain Dew prevents pregnancy?
Well, teens across Florida really believe and repeat these myths to their friends every day. It sounds unbelievable, but it's true. Our politicians are failing our youth. Sign our open letter to tell your lawmakers that they've got to do better.
Teens today aren't getting the facts. Instead, they are getting medically-inaccurate information - or no information at all - from ineffective abstinence-only programs. And it's putting their lives at risk.
Teens are used to getting grades, but now they are grading Florida schools - and Florida gets an F!
Teens need and deserve responsible sex education that includes information about abstinence, AND about protection from diseases and pregnancy. Florida lawmakers need to do their homework on teen pregnancy and STI rates. Sign our open letter telling your lawmakers that Florida teens need comprehensive sex education to protect themselves.
Florida gets an F in sex ed. Our lawmakers need to get educated and support comprehensive sex ed!
We've got to make sure teen health is at the top of the legislative agenda next session. Please sign our open letter today, while it's on your mind.
Thank you for ensuring that Florida teens get the information they need to be healthy and safe.
