CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (EWORLDWIRE) Oct 7, 2008
Pathway Polymers announced at the MINExpo INTERNATIONAL 2008 Press Conference that it has developed two new tire fill recycling machines specifically engineered to meet the harsh demands of the mining industry. These new tire fill machines are based on the wildly successful patented recycling tire fill machines that have been used to fill both OEM and aftermarket construction equipment tires for over five years.
The introduction of this new recycling tire fill machine technology to the mining industry will not only allow aftermarket dealers using polyurethane flatproofing tire fill materials to reduce the amount of waste created from used filled tires but also reduce the amount of virgin poly fill required to fill tires by using up to 50 percent of the used tire fill as a filler.
There is also an OEM version of the machine that uses rubber crumb as a filler that will allow OEMs using tire fill to dramatically reduce their tire fill costs.
Pathway Polymers also announced that it has the capability of supporting this cost saving new tire fill/flatproofing technology on a global scale.
Mining OEMs, mining operators, and aftermarket dealers from all over the world were seen in the Pathway Polymers booth.
In June of 2008, The Vita Group "> joined the forces of Pathway Polymers with Urethane International LLC to create the tire filling industries' first and most extensive "One Stop Shop" for providing tire flatproofing materials & equipment.
The MINExpo INTERNATIONAL 2008 exhibit was held September 22-24 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The National Mining Association's premier trade show is held every four years and features the latest technology, equipment, parts and services used for exploration, extraction, safety, environmental remediation and preparation of metallic ores, coal, and other minerals. Over 41,000 professional registrants from around the world were in attendance at this year's show.
