CoSentry Expands Footprint in Kansas City
KANSAS CITY, Mo., Oct. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- CoSentry, one of the region's leading providers of business continuity and managed solutions, announced that its footprint inKansas City is expanding -- literally and figuratively. The company is adding nearly 4,000 square feet of raised floor space in its Kansas City Data Center to meet the increasing need for services.

The additional 3,800 square feet of raised floor space will be available to clients by October 15th, said West. The space will allow clients to build primary, redundant, mirrored or backup data center capabilities inside CoSentry's Kansas City Business Resiliency facility. According to West, raised server room floors are the hallmark of a high-availability enterprise data center allowing for optimal cooling of equipment housed within the facility. The under-the-floor space also accommodates cabling for power and connectivity.
CoSentry's data center inKansas City was designed from the ground up to support high-power consumption devices such as secure servers. The facility opened in 2005 and has been very well received by clients located in theKansas City area, midwestern adjoining states, as well as overseas, with 24x7 operations and services.
