The Sarah Palin Trading Card
By Robert Paul Reyes
Sarah Palin has captured the imagination of the American public, she's fodder for pundits and ratings gold for TV news programs, magazines and newspapers.
I felt sorry for Joe Biden, I'm sure he was aware that even most Democrats could care less what he had to say, everyone tuned in to the VP debate to marvel at Palin.
There's the Palin doll, the Palin cardboard cutout (virtually indistinguishable from the flesh and blood version), and now there' s the Palin trading card.
"Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin will be added to Topps' repertoire of trading cards next week as part of its series featuring the main political players on the 2008 campaign trail.
One card will show Palin taking the oath of office as Alaska's governor in a black suit - much like the 12 collector cards issued earlier showing Barack Obama, John McCain, Joe Biden and others.
But Palin will also be featured on a second, limited-edition card as an Alaskan beauty pageant contestant in the 1980s."

This freethinker is going to get down on his knees and pray that there will never be a trading care depicting Palin taking the oath of office as vice-president of the United Sates.
I wouldn't mind having the limited-edition card, baby got back. Let's hope that the value of these cards won't go through the roof because the McCain/Palin ticket wins.
