Intersil CEO Dave Bell Discusses Acquisition of Kenet Corporation on WallStreet.net "3-Minute Press Show"
Chief Executive Says Purchase of Major Analog-to-Digital Converter Company Demonstrates Company's Overall Fiscal Health and Long-Term Strategy

Intersil Corporation (NASDAQ: ISIL), a world
leader in the design and manufacture of high-performance analog
semiconductors, today announced that CEO Dave Bell will discuss the
company's acquisition last week of Boston-based Kenet, Corporation on
WallStreet.net's "3-Minute Press Show."
"The acquisition of Kenet immediately gives Intersil leadership in
high-speed [analog-to-digital converter] markets and give us access to many
un-served markets," said Bell. "As more and more products use digital
signal processing technology, there's a growing need for high-speed data
converters to bridge to the analog world."
The purchase of Kenet, along with the recent acquisition of D2Audio, marks
the second Intersil acquisition just this quarter. Intersil's historically
strong cash position is enabling it to make key strategic acquisitions,
explained Bell.
