Acharya Khemraj Kesava Saran Enlightens NY Nepali Community
His Spiritual Grace Acharya Khemraj Kesava Saran enlightens New York Nepali Community with his thoughtful philosophies based on Sanatan Dharma (Hindu Religion) and Buddhism. While imparting his knowledge, the examples His Grace Acharya put forth touched the inner hearts of anyone who listened him carefully. In spite of enjoying the very high stature in Hindu Religion as the most respected and renowned spiritual personality, Acharya Khemraj Kesava Saran does not hesitate to speak some of the negativities that have been imposed on Hindu Religion.
Sacrificing of innocent animals is never a lesson taught by Veda or any other Hindu scriptures, says Acharya Khemraj Kesava Saran. Sacrificing innocent lives in the name of Hindu Religion practicing especially in Nepal like that of Dashain Festival is not a lesson of Hindu Religion which is also against the norms of animal rights. Acharya Khemraj Kesava Sarana vociferously oppose the idea of taking innocent lives either of human beings or any other living creatures.
While inciting the lessons of peace taught by Lord Gautam Buddha, Acharya Khemraj Kesava Sarana ironically characterized the good and bad nature within the mind and heart of a human being. He said, "unless we are able to discard the ill-will against anyone and continue to remain thirsty for a blood of our own brethren, we will never achieve the real purpose of existence in the earth". As per Acharya Khemraj Kesava Saran, we all should fulfill our duties by helping the needy; we must be available for those who cannot help themselves because of their old-age, disabilities and because of their very marginal access to education and other resources. At one point, Acharya Khemraj Kesava Saran said we need to have a heart of a mother who never wishes to see any of her children suffer. It is bad however, he says, "we don't even care of such a mother and becoming selfish". This remark of Acharya Khemraj Kesava Saran has definitely been directed towards
the nature of Nepalese politicians and other selfish characters who except satisfying own desire never did any good for a country.
The program organizer, Ms. Kamala Prasai, the President of N & J Entertainment Inc. NY, USA, later expressed her happiness to 'hold such an event that made all audience to learn about the philosophies of Hindu Religion and Buddhism'. Peace, fraternity, goodwill, respect for elders are what she said, "we were able to learn from the highly respected Hindu Guru Deva Acharya Khemraj Kesava Saran".
N & J Entertainment Inc. NY, USA, President Ms. Kamala Prasai has also wisely managed a time for honoring Acharya Khemraj Kesava Saran. His Spiritual Grace Acharya was offered a garland, shawl and a certificate of honor by Ms.. Yashaswee Rijal for the efforts throughout his life to promote and protect the Sanatan Dharma (Hindu Religion) through the diverse means. It is believed an auspicious to have offered anything from a small girl like Ms. Yashaswee Rijal during this period of Hindu Festival called "Dashain". Hindus pray little girl as a resemblance of Goddess Durga at this period of festivity.
Acharya Khemraj Kesava Sarana not only imparted wide verities of knowledge worth remembering whole life but also sang touchy devotional songs written by himself who to his credit has about 45 books published on different subjects including text books for the high-school students. Acharya Khemraj Kesava Saran was accompanied by the senior artist Mr. Nhuchhe Narayan Dangol with the traditional Nepali instrument called 'Dholak' a drum used since tens of thousands years to entertain the public.
Ms. Kamala Prasai of N & J Entertainment Inc. NY, USA, who organized the event at Satya Narayan Temple of Elmhurst, Queens, NY, was attended by among others respected personality Dr. Kamal Pande, Chairman of the Sanatan Dharma Sanskrit and Nepali Center, Chairman of the Nepali Nationalist Organization (NNO), USA, Mr. Bishal Shah, Mr. Nilmani Kharel and Mrs. Sita Kharel and their children including computer genius Mr. Moti Kharel.
