Such an opportunity arose when Gamemine.com discovered that the military has a difficult time keeping current with the continuous titles released for console systems. Gamemine.com discussed the matter with MWR and agreed to be title sponsor to the largest gaming event held by MWR atPearl Harbor. Gamemine.com has tapped into a completely fresh market by offering its service of video game rental memberships through its online gaming subscription service to military personnel and their families on US bases, both international and domestic. Gamemine.com has worked out the ability to ship games to the bases abroad with the same turnaround time as shipping within the continentalUnited States. Gamemine.com is the first company to initiate a business relationship with the US Military in the gaming industry, which is why, "Gamemine.com is where the military comes to play."

Under new ownership, Gamemine.com is revamping its website. Gamemine.com will not only provide its subscription service for gaming rental, but also host the first open sourced online gaming community, similar to myspace.com. Through this free community site, Gamemine.com will host tournaments between civilians and military personnel. It is a way for military families abroad to maintain their relationships back home.

Gamemine.com, based inDelray Beach, Florida, and Tom's River,New Jersey, is an online video game rental subscription service for gaming consoles and portables. Customers set up their "MineList" of games by preference. The games are sent to them by mail with a return postage paid envelop for their return. The packages include one, two or three games, and customers can keep the games as long as they want with no late fees. Unique to Gamemine.com are parental controls allowing parents of minors to establish parental controls on what games can be rented based on their rating from the ESRB.
