Black Hills Corp. Announces New Vice President, Strategic Planning and Development

David Emery, chairman, president and chief executive officer for Black Hills Corp., said that Kinzley has distinguished himself as a member of Black Hills' corporate development team for nearly 10 years, where he has played a key role in many of the company's major acquisition and divestiture projects. "Rich's recent contributions to the success of the Aquila acquisition demonstrate his readiness for this new level of responsibility," Emery said. "The leadership and teamwork Rich provided to this effort was critical to the success we are enjoying today."

Kinzley is a University of South Dakota graduate and a certified public accountant. Prior to joining the company in 1999, he worked for nine years in public accounting with KPMG inOmaha, Neb., and Ketel Thorstenson inRapid City and spent two years with Sodak Gaming inRapid City.
