#1 UK Chart-Toppers the Ting Tings Coming Back to the States in October-November for Autumn Club, Theatre & College Tour

NEW YORK, Sept. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- The Ting Tings, one of the year's hottest UK musical exports, will return to the states in October for a series of concerts at a variety of US clubs, theatres and college campuses.

The Ting Tings US Fall Tour -- the group's first stateside dates since their sold-out summer tour in June-August -- launches Tuesday, October 14 at the Wiltern Theatre inLos Angeles and finishes Saturday, November 1 atNew York's Webster Hall. (Please see full itinerary following).

Recent winners of the UK's prestigious Vodafone Live Music Award for Best Live Breakthrough Act, the Ting Tings were honored at America's 2008 MTV Video Music Awards with a Video of the Year nomination for "Shut Up and Let Me Go," which took home the Best UK Video trophy. The Ting Tings performed during the commercial bumpers of the MTV VMA broadcast and were a highlight of the VMA after-party.

"Shut Up and Let Me Go," a key track from the Ting Tings' #1 UK chart-topping album, "We Started Nothing," peaked at #1 on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart.

The "Shut Up and Let Me Go" video has been viewed nearly five million times on YouTube while the song has remained a solid fixture in the iTunes Top 100 Tracks and Albums chart since its release. iTunes released the Ting Tings "Soho Session" on August 19 and the iTunes Live: London Festival '08 EP on August 26.

Both "Shut Up and Let Me Go" and "We Started Nothing," the title track from the Ting Tings debut album, have been featured on the CW's cult television teen drama "Gossip Girl" while the Ting Tings' "Be The One" was heard on the April 26 episode of "One Tree Hill." The 2008 series premiere of "90210" featured the Tings' "Shut Up and Let Me Go" and "That's Not My Name," the group's #1 UK single and current US single release. The Ting Tings performed "That's Not My Name" on "Craig Ferguson" on September 15.

Released stateside on June 3, "We Started Nothing," the Ting Tings debut album, reached #9 on Billboard's Top Independent Albums Chart and #7 on the Billboard Top Heatseekers Chart. The album, which entered the UK charts at #1, has sold more than 700,000 copies worldwide.
