Steven Soderbergh's Epic Movie Biography Che to Premiere In Full- Length
Details Revealed on ReelzChannel TV Series "Dailies"
Jonathan Sehring, President, IFC, revealed on ReelzChannel TV's "Dailies" program that Steven Soderbergh's epic movie Che, the biography of Cuban icon Che Guevera, will premiere with limited runs in December at New York's Ziegfeld Theater and at Los Angeles' Landmark Theatre. Che stars Benicio Del Toro as the Argentine doctor who became one of the heroes of Fidel Castro's Cuban revolution.
The "Dailies" interview with Sehring will be televised Wednesday, September 24, 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.
Sehring also said that the December runs of the movie will be presented in its 4½-hour entirety with intermissions, although it will be presented in two parts when it opens wide in theaters in January 2009. IFC acquired the acclaimed movie recently at the Toronto International Film Festival.
