Tina Fey Tired of Impersonating Sarah Palin

By Robert Paul Reyes

"She was more open about her thoughts on reprising the "SNL" role. As in, she'd prefer not to.

'I want to be done playing this lady Nov. 5,' she said. 'So if anybody can help me be done playing this lady Nov. 5, that would be good for me.'" (Tina Fey on impersonating Sarah Palin)

Tina Fey's impersonation of Sarah Palin is spot on, but it must take a terrible toll on the talented comedienne to channel the vapid Republican VP candidate. It's too much to ask an actress to portray Palin on a regular basis, SNL should have a rotating crew of Palin impersonators. There is a whole slew of Palin impersonators in cyberspace, the producers of SNL should check out YouTube.

John McCain has done a tremendous disservice to his party and to the country by choosing Palin as his VP. He should be forced to don high heels, a wig and hit the drag queen circuit impersonating Palin.

No doubt the producers of SNL will pressure Fey to reprise her Palin impersonation a few more times before the election. Let's help Fey out by voting for Obama/Biden so that at least there won't be a demand to impersonate Palin after the election.

I'm doing my part to preserve Fey's sanity by voting for Barack Obama.
