Inside America's Families: New Data From Nannies4Hire.com Bucks Children's Health National Trend
OMAHA, Neb., Sept. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- In a national survey of 6,177
nannies and babysitters, Nannies4Hire.com and Babysitters4Hire.com report some
new facts about the state of America's children. Parents' inconsistency with
rules may be leading to out of control kids but families with nannies may be
healthier and happier. The survey reports that overweight children and
obesity rates are less than the national averages, children spend less time in
front of TV's and more time outside. Children with nannies are also eating a
healthier diet. Having a Nanny during a child's development years may be an
asset for life.
"A Nanny's focus is on the well being of the children in their care, so I
was not surprised to see that America's nannies are committed to their
families and children," states Candi Wingate, President of Nannies4Hire.com
and Babysitters4Hire.com. "I was surprised that we may not be taking care of
our nannies as well as we could. With over 2611 responses from full time
nannies, 86.1% (1711) reported having no employer paid health insurance, 95.7%
(1827) reported no retirement plan and 51.7% (1043) have no paid sick days,"
reports Candi, author of 100 Tips For Families and Nannies.
