Police Recovers Tin Bombs in Kashmir

Srinagar, Sept 21: Police in Kashmir on Sunday claimed to have recovered two tin bombs and arrested four militants.

A police officer told NewsBlaze that acting on a specific intelligence, police arrested three persons and recovered a bomb made of Nitro-Benzene, Ammonium-Nitrate and iron Nails contained in a Pepsi Tin from their possession. "During questioning they revealed that they belong to Hizbul Mujahideen outfit and one of them is a commander for Srinagar namely Arif Shafi Gilkar alias Fahad alias Javid while the other two namely Bashir Ahmad Baba and Yasir Khan are his associates.

He further claimed that on another specific input police arrested Ishfaq Ahmad Wani in Haba Kadal locality in downtown Srinagar. "From his disclosure and possession, a bomb made of Nitro-Benzene, Ammonium Nitrate, Iron Nails in a Pepsi Tin and some other explosive was recovered from his house in Habba Kadal Srinagar," the police officer claimed.

He claimed that the arrested militants were in a close contact with their top commanders.

"Nitro-Benzene, Hydrochloric Acid, Fire Cracker explosive, Glass wire, Laboratory test tubes, tube stand, one brush, Batteries 9 volt, PCB Board, Resistors, Diodes, Indicators, IC's, Tracking paper sheets for tracing circuit diagrams of PTD, Tin Bombs made of Nitro-Benzene, Hydrogen peroxide, Rubber Gloves, Cloth and Explosive notes were also recovered from their houses," he said.

The police officer said that further investigation are going on.
