Kenexa Wins Employer of the Year Award From Nebraska Society for Human Resource Management

Company Lauded for Advancing the HR Profession, Supporting Sound HR Practices

At the Qwest Center -- Kenexa Corporation (NASDAQ: KNXA), a global provider of talent acquisition and retention solutions, today received the Employer of the Year Award from the Society of Human Resource Management's Nebraska State Council.

The award recognizes Kenexa as a great place to work, in particular for its focus on employee engagement, company-wide community service, employee training and development, and sound HR practices. The award was presented to Bill Erickson, executive vice president, Kenexa at the SHRM Nebraska State Council State Human Resource Conference, which was held on Friday, September 19, 2008, at the Qwest Center in Omaha, Neb.

The award was given based on the HR programs and practices that directly support Kenexa's goals, such as the company's Director and Principal Development Programs and Kenexa University(TM), which provides continuing education for individual career growth and development. Kenexa also was recognized for its commitment to community service and outreach, which includes providing each employee with one paid community service day for volunteering each year. In the last year, Kenexa-Lincoln employees volunteered with Hearts United for Animals (HUA), conducted community beatification projects, as well as donated 49.5 gallons of blood in Kenexa-Lincoln's bi-monthly blood drives.
