Site Helps Mobile Users Search More Quickly by Dividing Results Into Categories, Showing Results as Pictures of Web Pages Before You Click Through

Searchme, Inc. announced today the immediate availability of its visual search engine for mobile devices. Searchme's engine delivers results as a browsable list of "pages" -- pictures of actual web pages that users can check out before visiting them. Searchme also suggests categories to users, providing shortcuts to the best results. All mobile users can now access the engine at http://m.searchme.com.

"Searchme's visual search is now available to billions of mobile users, offering a new and better way to search the Web," said Randy Adams, Searchme Founder and CEO. "Searchme's interface makes it easy to find what you are looking for because we show you pictures of the web sites without the delay of loading them in your browser. On mobile devices this is a real time saver and simply a better way to search the web."

How It Works

All mobile users can now go to http://m.searchme.com and simply enter a short query. The search engine will then display titles and pictures of web pages which match the query along with a list of categories that can be selected for further refinement. To go to a site, you simply select its picture.
