CaribeVision Broadcasting Network Launches Campaign with Advertising and Marketing Leader McCann Worldgroup
MIAMI, Sept. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- CaribeVision Broadcasting Network today
announced a strategic alliance with McCann Worldgroup to launch a
multi-faceted marketing campaign to promote CaribeVision's brand and
programming to U.S. consumers in the key east coast markets ofMiami andNew
York.
CaribeVision Broadcasting Network's rapid growth has caught the attention
of large communications firms like McCann Worldgroup, one of the world's
largest advertising and marketing firms, with which CV has recently signed an
agreement to invest more than $4 million in advertising in three markets:
Miami,New York andPuerto Rico. This marketing investment will position CV
strongly within the U.S. Hispanic market.
After launching a regional marketing campaign, CaribeVision Broadcasting
Network will target its messages directly to the consumer. This campaign will
emphasize our programming, which holds a leadership role throughout the region
because of its different formats that range from comedy to news coverage. The
firm has joined with McCann Worldgroup to develop a complete marketing plan.
This plan is centered on the benefits of its product as it relates to
television, given its excellent programming that receives international
recognition.
"After months of on-air operations during which we were fine tuning
details in order to optimize distribution, programming and content, we are now
ready to announce our organization, programming and brand to achieve the
levels of audience we are seeking," said Emilio Braun Burillo, Chief Media
Officer of CaribeVision.
At this time, the firm is implementing the first phase of its campaign.
This involves a substantial investment in advertising on television, print
media, radio, billboards and outdoor signage, as well a sample of our
advertising on the screen of CV inMiami,New York andPuerto Rico. In print
media, full page ads will appear in the most important nationally distributed
magazines. Billboards and a building mesh complete the firm's outdoor
advertising strategy.
"We are very proud to be part of the CaribeVision team and to work
together to position them as leaders in entertainment, offering the best of
the Latin world," said Carlos Thompson, General Manager of McCann Worldgroup
Puerto Rico.
As the campaign transitions into its second phase there will be a shift in
the media distribution in order to launch a complete public relations campaign
and community programs. Slated to begin in the next months, these programs aim
to emphasize the benefits you may enjoy with our programming using interactive
activities.
CaribeVision Broadcasting Network, the Hispanic television channel that
reaches over seven million households throughoutthe United States, continues
to strengthen its programming strategy for the U.S. market and takes a
leadership role with its expansion plan that will set standards in the U.S.
Hispanic market. In the near future, the network expects to enter into other
similar agreements that will provide for the company's growth as it positions
itself at the top of the U.S. television scene.
