AARP The Magazine & AARP Bulletin to Increase Rate Base From 23.5 Million to 24 Million

WASHINGTON, Sept. 15 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- AARP, one of the world's largest member organizations with over 40 million members and the leading organization for people 50+, today announced that AARP Services Inc. Media Sales will be increasing the rate base of both its lifestyle publication AARP The Magazine and its news publication AARP Bulletin from 23.5 million to 24 million with the January/February 2009 issue.

In addition to its unequaled reach, AARP The Magazine has targeting capabilities with scale through three demographically targeted editions. The rate base for each edition breaks down to 7.6 million for ages 50-59, 7.8 million for ages 60-69 and 8.6 million for the age 70+ edition.
