Signature Hospice Says, 'People Should Not Have to Wait For Admission to Hospice!' Hospice Services Now Available in the Eugene/Springfield Area

"Many people in the community have had to wait as long as two weeks to receive hospice services. We believe this is a tragedy! Terminally ill patients should live comfortably with as little pain as possible!" said Trey Malicoat, President, Signature Hospice, Home Health & Home Care. Signature hospice is dedicated to admitting patients within three hours from the time of referral and will work strategically with the larger systems to take patient referrals quickly and efficiently. Hospice services are paid for by Medicare, Medicaid and most private insurance providers.

The Signature Hospice team includes physicians, nurses, home health aides, social workers, counselors, and trained volunteers to provide 24-hour-a-day, seven-days-a-week care. Each contributes to an overall plan of care for each individual patient that emphasizes pain management and symptom control.
