worked with ESPN to introduce new sports categories such as Skier Cross, Ski
Slopestyle and Ski Superpipe to the Winter X Games, resulting in a dramatic
increase in viewership and paving the way for the X Games growth to more than
230 athletes with broadcast range of over 190 countries worldwide. This same
group helped launch Red Bull in the U.S. through progressive programs such as
Flugtag, Crashed Ice and Rampage, which have now become synonymous with the
brand's unique personality and helped catapult it to its place atop the energy
drink industry.
CRUX Event's newest assignment is the creation of Jeep 48Straight, the
largest sports, music and entertainment event in the country. The event
combines summer mountain bike racing and winter skier and boarder cross and
halfpipe events with dozens of live concerts, arts and cultural programs and a
wealth of environmentally focused activities designed to empower people to
celebrate and connect with the outdoor lifestyle.
