Lippincott Williams & Wilkins Named Publisher of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine

Newswise - Lippincott Williams & Wilkins (LWW) has signed an agreement to serve as the publisher of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, official journal of the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine (ASRA). Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine is also the official publication of ASRA's affiliates, the European Society of Regional Anaesthesia and Pain Therapy, the Asian and Oceanic Society of Regional Anesthesia, and the Latin American Society of Regional Anesthesia. LWW is part of Wolters Kluwer Health, a leading provider of information and business intelligence for students, professionals, and institutions in medicine, nursing, allied health, pharmacy and the pharmaceutical industry.

LWW will begin publishing the journal in 2009 and will include it in the LWW Total Access Collection on Ovid.com, also part of Wolters Kluwer Health. The LWW Total Access Collection features a comprehensive collection of over 260 acclaimed medical information journals.

Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine publishes original articles, technical and translational reports, review articles and correspondence relevant to practitioners concerned with local anesthetics, regional anesthesia, ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia and pain management. Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine is published bi-monthly and has a circulation of nearly 7,000.
