Detroiters Working for Environmental Justice to Sponsor Creative Cities Summit 2.0

DETROIT, Sept. 10 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The producers of the Creative Cities Summit 2.0 (CCS2) today announced that Detroiters Working for Environmental Justice (DWEJ) has signed on as a major sponsor for the ground-breaking conference on contemporary city making and the creative economy coming toDetroit Oct. 13-15, 2008.

"DWEJ believes that the time has come forDetroit to take its place in the new economy," said Donele Wilkins, executive director, Detroiters Working for Environmental Justice. CCS2 will present a dynamic and engaging conversation about how communities around the world are integrating innovation, social entrepreneurship, sustainability, arts & culture and business to create vibrant economies.
