BorgWarner Manufacturers' Challenge Cup Awarded to Ford at Crandon International Off-Road Raceway
AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Sept. 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Driving a Ford
F-150 with record qualifying lap times, Scott Taylor raced to victory at the
World Championship BorgWarner Shootout at the Crandon International Off-Road
Raceway inCrandon, Wisconsin, Labor Day Weekend. The win crowned Taylor the
'King of Off-Road Racing' for the second time since 2002 when he became the
first driver of a PRO 2-wheel drive truck to claim the title. For the ninth
time in 14 years, the Ford Motor Company will display the BorgWarner
Manufacturers' Challenge Cup, a sterling silver symbol of excellence valued at
$125,000.

Systems, the 10-lap World Championship BorgWarner Shootout race is the most
prestigious in professional Off-Road truck racing for drivers, team owners and
sponsors. PRO 4x4 trucks square off against PRO and Super Truck 2-wheel drive
pickups to determine who will be Off-Road truck racing's most celebrated
champion. The manufacturer of the winning truck is awarded the BorgWarner
Manufacturers' Challenge Cup, a 44-inch tall, hand-crafted trophy made of
sterling silver and 18-karat gold. The winning driver receives a smaller
replica of the trophy, valued at $7,500, in addition to cash prizes.
