BETHESDA, Md., Sept. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- MainStream GS, a subsidiary of
MainStream LLC that specializes in continuous process improvement and program
management solutions, has been awarded a Mission Oriented Business Integrated
Services (MOBIS) Schedule 874 contract by the General Services Administration
(GSA).
The contract, GS-10F-0310U, carries an initial performance period of five
years and gives government customers access to MainStream GS' team experienced
in project management and business consulting solutions. The contract covers
Special Item Numbers (SINs) 874-1, MOBIS Consulting Services; 874-2, MOBIS
Facilitation Services; 874-3, MOBIS Survey Services and 874-7, Program
Integration and Project Management.
"This GSA MOBIS Schedule award is directly aligned with our strategic
growth plan and will enable all federal government customers to benefit from
our deep expertise in Continuous Process Improvement and program management,"
said Al Horowitz senior vice president of public sector programs for
MainStream GS. "MainStream GS has a strong track record of performance for
the Department of Defense including support of the United States Navy and Air
Force. Being able to deliver our services via GSA extends our reach into
federal, state and local governments, which are each currently struggling to
cope with the dual threat of diminishing resources and a retiring workforce
who are taking undocumented process knowledge with them."
The MainStream GS MOBIS contract covers a wide range of consulting and
project management services to help federal, state and local government
agencies improve their performance and pursue their mission goals. The MOBIS
contract vehicle offers a streamlined approach for obtaining services from
pre-qualified vendors at pre-negotiated prices.
"Designation as a GSA Mission Oriented Business Improvement Services
(MOBIS) contractor provides MainStream GS a proven and effective vehicle for
the government to purchase unique, government focused, continuous process
improvement services," said Thea DiFilippo, chief executive officer of Mercury
Consulting, a consultancy that advises firms on doing business with GSA and
the federal government. "The GSA contract will allow agencies a fast,
efficient way to procure these MainStream GS services that are in such high
demand today."
