Republican National Committee: Friend Updates Added to 'BarackBook'
WASHINGTON, Sept. 8 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Republican National Committee (RNC) today launched new friend updates to its social networking Web site, www.BarackBook.com.
The most recent friend updates include Barack Obama's notable associations with Larry Lessig, a technology adviser to Obama and former Harvard classmate who advocates the abolition of intellectual property rights; U.S. Rep. Rahm Emanuel (IL-05), chairman of the House Democratic Caucus with connections toChicago Mayor Daley and corruptChicago figures; Howard Gutman, an attorney and Obama bundler whose clients include a former member of the Weather Underground; and Obama donor Aiham Alsammarae, a close friend of convicted felon Tony Rezko who is identified by Interpol as an Iraqi fugitive with a warrant against him for corruption charges.
