Photon Dynamics' Shareholders Approve Merger With Orbotech
SAN JOSE, Calif., Sept. 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Photon Dynamics, Inc.
(Nasdaq: PHTN) announced that shareholders have voted in favor of Orbotech
Ltd.'s proposed acquisition of Photon Dynamics in a stock-for-cash merger at
Photon Dynamics' special shareholders meeting held today. In excess of a
majority of the shares outstanding were cast in favor of the proposals
relating to the merger and less than one percent of shares outstanding were
against the proposals relating to the merger. The merger will close upon the
satisfaction or waiver of the remaining closing conditions.
