OneChicago Reports August Volume

CHICAGO, Sept. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- OneChicago, LLC today reported that 188,218 security futures contracts traded at the Exchange in August 2008. YTD volume stands at 3,066,664.

Open interest stood at 313,409 contracts in August 2008.

Each single stock futures (SSF) contract is equivalent to 100 shares of the underlying stock. The top five SSF contracts by volume in August were:



    Kraft Foods, Inc.         KFT1C          19,627

    ChevronTexaco Corp.       CVX1C          13,058

    The Dow Chemical Company  DOW1C          11,916

    Wyeth                     WYE1C          9,002

    Apple Computer Inc.       AAPL1C         8,733
