Clean Technology and Digital Social Media the Focus for the 2008 Silicon Forest Forum

PORTLAND, Ore., Sept. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Silicon Forest Forum organizers White & Lee LLP and Intel Capital announced today the Silicon Forest Forum 2008 will be held September 12 at Intel's Jones Farm Campus inHillsboro, Ore. The Advanced Technology Management Conference (http://www.siliconforestforum.com/2008/index08.htm), now in its eighth year, features a line-up of entrepreneurs and seasoned executives focused on innovation and investment in clean technology, digital social media technology and other cutting-edge technology. The theme of this year's program, The Reinvention of Technology, highlights changes in technology that are most relevant to Pacific Northwest industry.

This year's event luncheon will be headlined by keynote Marc Tarpenning, co-founder of Tesla Motors (http://www.teslamotors.com/about/company.php), speaking on the next generation of the electric car and permanent changes to the automotive industry. Four panel presentations throughout the day will cover a spread of discussions on clean tech investment, solutions and innovations, as well as the business of digital media.
