Palm Beach County Tourism Prepares: Hurricane IkePALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla., Sept. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- The Palm Beach County Convention and Visitors Bureau (PBC CVB) is on full alert and in a position of preparedness for the potential impact of Hurricane Ike onSouth Florida. Vital information on storm conditions is continuously being updated and all sources, including national emergency tracking sites are being monitored. The bureau's executive team is in active communication with Visit Florida, Palm Beach International Airport, thePalm Beach County Convention Center and thePalm Beach County Emergency Operation Center.
