New Program for Sports Fans Debuts on KARE 11

KARE 11 is teaming with Eden Prairie based
Jackyl Sports Entertainment to air "Sports Final," a new Sunday night
sports show featuring coverage of the Vikings and other Minnesota sports.
The program will air at 11:05 p.m. on KARE 11. The first scheduled
broadcast is Sunday, September 7.
Jeff Loftis, President of Jackyl Sports, says, "'Sports Final' is a
dynamic, fan friendly, interactive show that will give viewers what they
want. It will be a true insider's look
at the Minnesota Vikings as well as timely coverage of the Wild, Twins,
Swarm, Timberwolves and Gophers."
"Sports Final" pairs two Twin Cities sports figures to co-host. Rod Simons,
Twin Cities TV journalist and six-time Emmy award winner, will partner with
longtime Minnesota Vikings coach and Sirius NFL Radio expert analyst, Dean
Dalton.
John Remes, KARE 11 President and General Manager, said, "We are excited by
this project because these hosts are positioned to deliver the kind of
insider information that Minnesota sports fans want. We believe their
insight, their analysis and their exclusive interviews will serve this
market."
Simons and Dalton will be joined every week by Vikings players and coaches.
"Sports Final" will stand out even more with occasional contributions of
the KARE 11 sports and news team.
"Sports Final" will also offer the Coach's "Xs and Os" expert analysis, an
interactive fan feedback segment, plus they'll tackle the big sports story
of the day with "On Our Radar." Between shows, fans will be able to
interact to a steady diet of opinions and insider information with timely
blogs written by the hosts. The blogs and more materials for fans can be
found at www.sportsfinal.tv, rod@sportsfinal.tv and coach@sportsfinal.tv.
