Teche Federal Bank Open in All Markets Friday, September 5th and Announces Extended Hours Saturday, September 6th

Teche Federal Bank (AMEX: TSH) announced today that they are open in all their markets so that customers can make deposits and have access to their funds as the recovery from Hurricane Gustav progresses.

Teche Federal Bank President and CEO Patrick Little stated, "We are thankful that we have weathered Hurricane Gustav with only minimal damage to a small number of our branch facilities. Our customers need to deposit funds and have access to funds at this critical time and we have worked diligently to get branches open in each of our markets."

Teche Federal Bank's Houma, 706 Barrow Street branch in hard hit Terrebonne Parish is currently closed due to damage and is expected to re-open Monday, September 15th. Houma area customers can be serviced later today at our 912 Grand Caillou location only 2 miles away across from the Wal-Mart Super Center, extended hours on Saturday, September 6th and regular business hours beginning Monday, September 8th.
