The AmeriPoint Foundation Names 2008 Grant Recipients
HOUSTON, Sept. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- On Thursday August 21, 2008 The
AmeriPoint Foundation hosted a luncheon at River Oaks Country Club where they
presented $12,000.00 to four local charities: Boys & Girls Harbor represented
by Richard L. Gruen, Director of Development, It's My Heart represented by
Katy Wolff, Program Director, Interfaith Care Partners represented by Earl E.
Shelp, Ph. D., President, and Texas Center for the Missing represented by Beth
Alberts, Executive Director and Melissa Hulin, Assistant Director. Making the
presentations on behalf of the Foundation were W. Allen Shindler, Chairman,
and R.L. "Burr" Buckalew, Board Member. Also on hand from AmeriPoint Title
were Mary Shindler, Julio Fernandez, Pris Carnes, Maegan Koehn and Charlotte
Sanders.

The AmeriPoint Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable foundation, has been
funded by gifts from its founding partners, customers and employees, as well
as from donations from each transaction that closes at AmeriPoint Title.
Programs and organizations statewide benefit from the Foundation's support.
The AmeriPoint Foundation primarily supports causes that benefit women and
children inTexas and that have a proven record of providing consistent
service to those they serve. The Foundation was formed by the founding
members of AmeriPoint Title, the nation's first of its kind partnership of the
most respected independent title companies. Since its formation the
Foundation has raised $168,800.00 and has been able to support 32 worthwhile
charities.

by supporting causes and organizations in the community. We created this

Each of the charities went through a rigorous selection process and the
chosen recipients each met the established criteria. The Foundation is
committed to continuing to support charities like these that fit its mission.
