American Media, Inc. Names Marie Wolpert New Publisher of Country Weekly
NEW YORK, Sept. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- American Media, Inc. (AMI) today
announced that Marie Wolpert has been named Publisher of Country Weekly
magazine. She will begin her duties immediately and report to AMI President
John Miller.

diverse range of advertising categories speaks for itself and her ability to
lead a major brand is a tremendous asset to our company."
Ms. Wolpert has held high-level positions for a number of prominent
publications, including being the Associate Publisher of Smart Money and the
Advertising Director at New Yorker. Most recently she served as a sales &
marketing consultant for the Hearst publications Good Housekeeping and Quick
and Simple.

Ms. Wolpert will be based in American Media's New York Offices, while
Country Weekly's editorial staff will continue to be located inNashville. Ms.
Wolpert replaces Tori Hughes as publisher, who declined to make the transition
toNew York.
Ms. Wolpert is a graduate of New York University.
